Here at See Inside Group, we’re always looking for cool and creative things to capture in 360 and to add to Google Maps so we teamed up with the guys at Caliber Interactive to launch PokeView, a fun virtual reality experience based on the brand new augmented reality game Pokemon Go.
Having already photographed a number of Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts over 2014 and 2015 with UK based tour operator Destinology, we’re delighted to once again take our StreetView cameras back to one of our favourite properties in Dubai, Jumeirah Emirates Towers. Now you can step inside and explore each room category and outlet on Google Maps and book direct.
Just over 4 year ago when our StreetView Spherical Photographer Dan Root started working with search giant Google to bring their virtual tour network into and around local businesses, it seemed that his hometown of Rochdale was the perfect place to start. Today we’re delighted to showcase one of our local projects with Rochdale Council with next generation digital coverage of the revealing of the River Roch.
Facebook’s upcoming “360 Photos” feature will let people upload panoramas taken via mobiles or through 360 cameras. Facebook will then stitch them into 360 Photos for Facebook News Feeds where users will be able to hold and drag to pan around the photos, or move their heads to look around them on Gear VR, Oculus Riftand other VR headsets.
We were happy to hear that The Christie Hospital in Manchester was ranked as one of the best cancer treatment facilities in the world. We have had the privilege of creating a virtual tour for them in the past, therefore this award was no great surprise to us as we have seen some of their state of the art facilities first hand.

In its continuous quest to make 360° content more accessible for the masses, Google unveiled a new tool called VR View. Developers can now embed 360° photos and videos on websites or apps simply by adding a few lines of code. Google says the aim is to make this sort of content more widely available, whether it is a travel company showing off distant resorts and hotels, or an estate agent giving potential clients a sneak peak inside properties.
